OUR STORY

Our Story

Jay's Automotive is a full-service automotive repair shop in Eaton and has been providing customers with top quality work and exceptional customer service at a fair price since it opened in 2008!

Jay’s Automotive is a locally owned, family-run repair shop proudly serving Eaton, Colorado since 2008. Jay’s passion for automotive repair started early—at just 12 years old, helping his uncle in a shop in nearby Pierce. That early start turned into a lifelong career as a technician, and eventually, the dream of opening his own shop.

After moving back to Colorado in 2008, Jay and his wife—high school sweethearts who grew up just eight miles away—opened Jay’s Automotive in a small retrofitted building with two bays, two lifts, and a single Craftsman air compressor. For five years, they built the business from the ground up, earning the trust of the local community one customer at a time.

As the shop grew, so did the family. Jay’s Automotive moved into a retrofitted bowling alley, and in November of last year, reached a major milestone: moving into a brand-new building designed and built from scratch to better serve customers.

Today, Jay’s Automotive is still a true family business. Their oldest daughter now works at the front desk as a service writer, and the shop remains deeply rooted in the Eaton community—where Jay and his wife grew up, went to school, and raised their family.

At Jay’s Automotive, we believe in honest work, long-term relationships, and taking care of our neighbors—because that’s exactly what they are.
